Three days training for secondary teachers held

Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized Three Days Training Course for Secondary Teachers on January 23-25, 2024, at the Training and Resource Centre of BIIT. Many distinguished trainers, graced the training course with their presence, alongside other esteemed faculty members of the Institute.

Training Course has started on January 23, 2024. The 1st session of the first day started with the topic of ‘Knowledge, Education & Teaching from Islamic Perspective’ delivered by Dr.  M. Abdul Aziz, Director General (DG) of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) & Visiting Faculty, Islamic University of Technology (IUT).

The Second Session of first Day of the training course conducted by Dr. Md. Ali Azgar Talukder, Associate Professor & Head, Department of English, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology & Fellow of BIIT.  His topic was ‘Initiating & Sustaining Critical Interaction in the Classroom’. The 3rd and 4th sessions of 2nd Day of the training course conducted by Prof. Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Vice President (Teaching-Training) of BIIT and Former VC of Daffodil International University (DIU). His topic was ‘Can Questions Help Focus/Brainstorm on a Topic’.

The Fifth and Final session of Teachers’ Training Course for secondary teachers was led by Dr. D. M. Feroz Shah. He is an Associate Professor at Govt. Teachers’ Training College, Dhaka and a Fellow of BIIT. The session focused on introducing the newly adopted ‘National Curriculum, Teaching Strategies, and Evaluation Strategies’. Dr. Mumtahina, Academic Fellow & Faculty member of BIIT & Coordinator of this course; Dr. Syed Shahid Ahmad, Sr. Assistant Director (Admin & Coordination) of BIIT were present in this Training Course.
