Discussion on Intellectual and Academic Role of Islam held

The Ramadan discussion titled ‘Intellectual and Academic Role of Islam’ organized by Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) was held in honor of public university teachers on March 23, 2024 at the conference hall of BIIT.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Elahi, Former Vice Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), attended the discussion as the chief guest. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Director General of BIIT, presided over the event.

Dr. ShahJahan Khan, Vice Chancellor & CEO of Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB) and Emeritus Professor of University of Southern Queensland, Australia was present as a special guest.

Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Md. Zakaria Mazumder, Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Patwari, Professor Dr. Md. Asgar, Professor Dr. A. And. M. Harunur Rashid, Professor Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Professor Dr. Md. Iqbal Hossain, Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Kabir, Dr. Md. Zakir Hossain Talukder and others participated in the discussion.

Dr. Prof. AQM Abdus Shakur Khandkar, Prof. Dr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, Professor Dr. Md. Rahim Ullah, Professor Dr. Taher Ahmed, Professor Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Md. Solaiman Mia and others 30 teachers from various public universities and officials of BIIT were present in the discussion.
